Who we are

ys (“we”) runs an online platform that lets merchants (“you”) create and run online stores. These terms apply to your use of ys, its dashboard, the store websites it hosts and the services around them.

Your account

You must give true details when you sign up and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including what your staff do with the access you give them.

You must be able to enter a contract under the laws that apply to you, and use ys for a lawful business.

Free trial and plans

New stores get a free trial. When it ends, you choose a plan and pay its invoice to keep selling. Prices are shown on the pricing page and on every invoice before you pay.

During the trial, card payments and buying domains aren’t available: they open once a plan is paid, and you can pay early to end the trial.

Nothing is charged automatically. If an invoice stays unpaid after its due date and the grace period, the store may be suspended until it is paid.

Payments from your customers

Card payments are handled by the payment providers you connect (for example MEPS, Stripe or PayPal) under their own terms, and go to your account with them. Cash and bank transfers go to you directly. ys takes no commission on these payments.

Domains

Domains you buy through ys are registered for you with our registrar once the invoice is paid. Renewals are invoiced before the expiry date and renewed only after payment. A domain whose renewal is not paid may expire and be released.

What you sell

You are responsible for your products, prices, descriptions, delivery, returns and customer service, and for following the laws on consumer protection, taxes and the goods you sell. You may not sell illegal, counterfeit or dangerous goods, or use ys to mislead or harm anyone.

Your content and data

Your products, photos, texts and customer data stay yours. You let us store and show them only to run your store and the platform. You can export your products, orders and customers to Excel, and ask us to close your account, at any time.

Our service

We work to keep ys available, secure and backed up, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features; when a change matters to you, we tell you ahead of time.

Suspension and closing

We may suspend a store that breaks these terms, harms others or isn’t paid. You may ask us to close your store at any time, from Help & support in your dashboard.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, ys is not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We tell you about important changes before they apply; using ys after that means you accept them.
