What this covers
This policy explains what data ys collects from merchants and their staff, what we keep about the customers who buy from stores on ys, and how we use and protect it.
What we collect from merchants
Your name, email, phone number and password (stored encrypted), your store’s details, what you add to it, your invoices and payments to us, and how you use the dashboard so we can support you and keep it secure.
Your customers’ data
When people buy from your store, we store their name, contact details, addresses and orders on your behalf. You decide what to do with this data; we use it only to run your store, send the order emails and keep the platform secure. We never sell it.
Payment details
Card details are entered on the payment provider’s pages or forms and handled by them. ys does not store card numbers.
How we use data
To provide and improve ys, send you invoices and emails about your store and account, answer your requests, keep accounts secure, and meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
Only with the services needed to run ys, such as hosting, email delivery, domain registration and the payment or delivery providers you connect, each limited to what they need. We may share data when the law requires it.
How we protect it
Every store and dashboard runs over https, access is limited to people who need it, sensitive keys are encrypted, and the database is backed up every night.
How long we keep it
As long as your account is open, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, tax or security reasons. When you close your account, your stores and their data are deleted.
Your choices
You can see and correct your details in your dashboard, export your data to Excel, and ask us to delete your account. Customers of a store can ask the store to see, correct or delete their data.
Cookies
This website keeps no tracking cookies. The dashboard and the stores use the cookies they need to sign you in and keep a cart.
