Pick your AI app
Open connectors
In Claude on the web or the desktop app, open Settings, then Connectors. On some versions it is under Customize.
Add ys
Choose Add custom connector, name it ys and paste your store’s address.
Sign in and allow
Choose Connect. Sign in to ys, pick your store and what Claude may do, then choose Allow.
Start asking
In a new chat, make sure ys is switched on in the tools menu, and ask away.
Custom connectors work on every Claude plan. On Team and Enterprise plans an admin may need to add the connector first.
Turn on developer mode
Open Settings, then Apps (or Connectors), then Advanced, and switch on Developer mode.
Create the app
Choose Create, name it ys, paste your store’s address and choose OAuth for sign-in.
Sign in and allow
Sign in to ys, pick your store and what ChatGPT may do, then choose Allow.
Start asking
In a new chat, choose + then Developer mode, switch on ys, and ask away.
Developer mode is available on paid ChatGPT plans. On Business and Enterprise workspaces an admin may need to allow it.
Add the server
Add an HTTP MCP server with your store’s address. In Claude Code, run the command below.
Sign in
A browser window opens. Sign in to ys, pick your store and choose Allow.
Start asking
Ask for what you need, or let it work through a list: prices, stock, translations.

In Cursor and VS Code, add the same address as a remote (HTTP) MCP server in their MCP settings.

You stay in charge
The app works with your permission, inside the limits you set, and you can see everything it did.
- You choose the store and exactly what the app may see and change.
- An app never gets more than your own account. Staff connect with their own permissions.
- Payments setup, billing, domains and staff are not available to apps.
- Before an app deletes something, cancels an order or refunds money, it shows you what will happen and waits for your OK.
- Every change is in your store’s activity log, with the app’s name.
- Disconnect any app in one click from AI assistants in your dashboard menu. The store owner can turn AI apps off for the whole store.
Questions & answers
Which AI apps can I use?
Any app that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol) with sign-in: Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and more. They all use the same address.
Does it cost extra?
Connecting is part of your ys plan at no extra cost. The AI app itself may need a plan of its own, for example to use custom connectors.
Can ys read my chats?
No. ys only sees what the app asks your store for, like “list today’s orders”. Your conversation stays with the AI app.
What if the AI gets something wrong?
Big changes wait for your OK first, and every change is in the activity log so you can see what happened. You can disconnect the app at any time.
Can my staff connect too?
Yes. Each person connects with their own account, and the app can only do what their permissions allow. If you change their permissions, the app follows at once.
Does it work in Arabic?
Yes. Write in Arabic or English. Product titles and descriptions are written in your store’s main language unless you ask otherwise.
I have more than one store.
Connect the app once per store. When you sign in, you choose which store it works on.
